Marin's Attack Trail C-XT9 is a full-carbon enduro machine. The carbon frame is light and tough with a tapered headtube as well as front and rear Maxles for stiffness that you notice and appreciate right away. The QUAD 3 suspension is active and efficient, featuring a RockShox Pike up front with 160mm-130mm of adjustable travel and a RockShox Monarch out back with 150mm of travel. A Shimano 2 x 10-speed drivetrain delivers plenty of gears and the Elixir brakes are XC light, yet DH worthy. The same can be said for the light, tough Easton Vice 27.5-inch wheels with Schwalbe's Hans Dampf tires. Easton Haven bars and a KS internally-routed dropper post put the finishing touches on this all-mountain whip.
