Details
Stage wins at all the grand tours, classic victories at Milan San Remo, Liege Bastogne Liege, and Paris-Roubaix—we can safely say that the Foil is the most versatile aero bike on the market. Its HMX Carbon fiber frame was designed to help you gain those extra precious seconds, and comes in as one of the lightest in the aero market.
With an aerodynamic frame and a host of top-of-the-line components, the Foil Premium Disc is designed to carry you further, faster. A one-piece carbon handlebar and stem combo results in an aero-optimized shape as well as an extra-stiff cockpit. Full integration of brake cables, electronic shifting cables, and Shimano's Di2 junction box provides a smooth transition between the cockpit and the frame, especially when paired with internal frame routing. The Dura-Ace Di2 drivetrain provides incredibly accurate and rapid shifting and allows you to customize the function of each shift button. Dura-Ace hydraulic flat mount disc brakes offer loads of stopping power, allowing you to carry speed farther into tight corners or simply stop on a dime if necessary. Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels are the ultimate in aerodynamic hoops, featuring carbon rims with a tall profile and turbulence-battling dimples. They've got a wide internal width and are tubeless ready. Schwalbe ONE tires are great for carving up the tarmac, and at a supple 28mm wide they help smooth out the ride. Supporting this bike's racing pedigree, the aero carbon seatpost is topped with a carbon-railed Syncros Becarra 1.0 saddle.
Electronic drivetrain systems deliver excellent shifting, easy set up, and solid battery life. Here are some benefits of electronic shifting that you don't want to miss.
Shifting Performance
Electronic shifting systems use powerful servo motors to rapidly shift the chain. Because microprocessors and sensors constantly monitor every aspect of the system, they shift with surgical precision and without chain rub.
Customization
Many major systems have customizable shifting. Some have the ability to add remote shifters for common riding positions, and some even allow you to change the functions of the shifting buttons.
Dependability
Electronic groupsets are responsive and consistent. There are no cables to stretch and wear out, so you get a flawless shift every time. The added bonus is you'll never have to replace a derailleur cable ever again.
